BCBG is a company founded by women's designer and entrepreneur Max Azria. BCBG stands for Bon Chic Bon Genre, which means 'good style good attitude' in French. The design house was established in 1989 and offers sophisticated ready to wear garments and accessories for women.

The BCBG boutique first opened in Los Angeles, USA and then in Canada.
BCBG also launched a footwear collection for women. In 1996, its first women's collection was featured on the runway of New York City's Fashion Week. BCBG has also successfully launched its eyewear, swimwear, bridal wear, BCBG girls, handbags and leather good collection.

The company has also signed several licensing agreements with companies like Unilever Cosmetics International to produce fragrances, Philips-Van Heusen Corporation for men's shirts and ties, Winlit Group Ltd to produce women's outerwear, Geneva Watches to produce timepieces and Colors in Optics for a collection of sunglasses. The BCBG flagship stores are located in Bahrain, Beverly Hills, Georgetown, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New York, Singapore and Venezuela.
