Pia Myrvold |
A Norwegian designer, based in Paris, Pia Myrvold is a juggler of crafts - she paints, designs clothes, furniture and tableware, makes lithographs, creates installations and composes music. Each is done with equal amount of dedication, passion and love.

She has designed several unique, eccentric and futuristic ready-to-wear collections, some like the Paris Identity collection (1996) where she used plastic bags, Internet (1994), where dresses were designed like microchips and Body Theory, where poems were printed on clothes. She has admitted to being inspired by Japanese designers like Issey Miyake and Yohji Yamamoto.

She has also designed porcelain cups and saucers for Porsgrund Porselen, a Norwegian company. Her collections can be found in some of the major boutiques in Norway, Paris, New York and Tokyo.
